What does Sunday Worship Look Like if You Have Kids?

Children's Curriculum

The Gospel Project Children's Biblical Curriculum for Families in Scottsdale, AZ, featuring engaging lessons, activities, and stories designed to teach kids core biblical truths in a fun, interactive way.

The curriculum we use is the Gospel Project.

The Gospel Project is a weekly Bible study that helps all ages dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ.

A big reason we use this is to access the at-home parent resources. We train parents on how to utilize so you can have an influential role in teaching your child too.

During Service

Infant - Toddler

For infants: They are welcome in the service! If they begin to cry or you need to nurse, we have a Quiet Room in the back of the sanctuary so you can still listen to the sermon. You are also welcome to bring them to Nursery with the toddlers.

For toddlers: Bring your child to the nursery when the sermon begins. You will be led through a secure check-in process where you can hand off your child to helpers who have gone through background checks & training. They will have so much fun playing, reading, singing songs and watching a short Bible lesson.

5 - 11 Years

Ages 5-11 have a class that goes through the Gospel Project Curriculum.

They will stay in service until the sermon begins and then go to their classroom with the teacher (about 35 min class). The teacher will bring them back to you when finished!

12+

We encourage ages 12+ to join in the whole service and begin to see themselves as part of the church family in greater depth. With this age group. we put heavy emphasis on training parents to disciple their children.

We’d be happy to answer any questions.
